No. 6 – Kansas

We are to the first true blue blood of college basketball, and man did Kansas have some stars. Wilt Chamberlain, Clyde Lovellette, and Danny Manning from back in the mid to late 1900s. Wilt is the all-time leader in rebounds, and it is a record that will never be broken. Players play for usually at max 20 years nowadays, and Wilt had 23,924 career rebounds.

That is absurd considering he only played 14 seasons. Wilt also averaged in his career 30 plus points per game, and in one season he averaged over 50 a game. Stop and think for a second; this year we were going insane about James Harden scoring 30 for a ridiculous amount of games, Wilt averaged 50.

They also have some of the best young players in the game now. Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins also played at Kansas. Wiggins was a top pick and while he has struggled to reach his full potential, he is still scoring just a shade under 20. Embiid though is averaging over 24 points and 11 rebounds a game for his career and is playing with the same team Wilt did for a while in Philadelphia.

Kansas also produced another great player in Paul Pierce. He averaged just under 20 points but had he not played his last two seasons where he averaged 18 and 11 minutes a game Pierce would have been a 20 point scorer for his career.
