The Cleveland Cavaliers didn’t land a top three pick as they were hoping to, but they still have a chance to add a top NBA Draft prospect with the No. 5 pick. Here are the top three options for them to consider.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have a lot of holes they need to fill to build this team going forward through the NBA Draft, but they do have a solid core to go forward with. Their main young players are Collin Sexton and Cedi Osman, but they do also have some older players who can be a part of the long-term future such as Jordan Clarkson and Kevin Love.

These are some solid players, but they do have a need for talent to go forward with. This is going to be a long rebuild process in Cleveland, but they’re going to need to remain patient. They are a long ways away from having the talent needed to compete for a playoff spot, but adding a key player with this pick would be a good step in turning things around.

The Cavs should be very disappointed with how the NBA Draft Lottery results turned out, but they still have a chance to add an impact player. They will miss out on top prospects such as R.J. Barrett and Zion Williamson, but they will get a chance at adding a quality player who could be a key starter in this league for the next decade.

The lack of young talent currently on the roster is something that needs to be addressed this season and while this is thought of as a three-player draft there are still plenty of talented players for him to target. Here are the top three players that should have their eye on with their No. 5 pick.
