The Charlotte Hornets since drafting Kemba Walker in 2011 have been one of the worst drafting franchises in the league. Which NBA Draft pick could change that title in 2019?

Ever since the Charlotte Hornets found their point guard of the future in Kemba Walker they have flopped their picks. Players like Frank Kaminsky, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and Malik Monk are just a few examples. They are yet again in the NBA Draft lottery, but not in the most favorable spot in the lottery to find themselves another player like Kemba. So who could be the player they take in this years draft at No. 12?

Well, the Hornets have a few different ways that they could approach this draft. They are at risk of losing Kemba in free agency which could mean a complete overhaul of their roster. They could try and resign Kemba Walker and go for a front-court player. Finally, they could attempt to trade the pick for assets due to having never drafted well.

I am going to give three options on who the Hornets could take with the No. 12 pick, one of them will be with Kemba and the other two without Kemba as he is going to be playing somewhere else next year according to most analysts.

The Hornets are in a very tough spot considering you do not usually final franchise changing players this low in the draft that often, however right now they just need help period.
