NCAA basketball teams around the country are hot on the recruiting trail. Who are the top-100 prospects that have already committed to their schools?

NCAA basketball recruiting never stops. Even with the majority of the top 2019 players already committed to their respective schools, programs around the nation have turned their complete attention to building up talent for the future. At this moment, there are 12 players rated in the top-100 of the 2020 class that have already made their college decisions. While many of the programs landing these commits are known as “recruiting powerhouses”, there are a few others that could use these early commits to snag some elite total classes.

Recruiting is a nuanced and important part of building any NCAA basketball program and many coaches are hot on the trail in hopes of landing some top-tier talent. Of course, it is still very early in the recruiting season for 2020 players but over 10% of the top-100 players are already committed to their future program. There is still plenty of time left but the programs that were able to snag these players are in great shape moving forward.

The expectation should be that each of these players will be able to come in and make an immediate impact on their respective programs. With plenty of time left until they actually take a college court, though, let’s take a quick dive into each of the top-100 players currently committed from the 2020 class and see what they might bring to the court. (Note: All recruiting rankings used in this article were found via 247Sports Composite.)
