Five-star guard Cade Cunningham is down to a final group of 10 teams. Which NCAA Basketball program stands out among the best options for him?

In the early part of the 2019 AAU Spring sessions, Cade Cunningham has emerged as one of the biggest standouts. The 6’6 guard has been dominant through the EYBL circuit, averaging over 25 ppg and filling out the box scorer with rebounds and assists. Already a five-star NCAA Basketball prospect, Cunningham has now gotten the attention of every powerhouse program for the 2020 recruiting class.

The Arlington, Texas native is one of the top players for high school basketball juggernaut Montverde Academy in Florida, primarily playing at the point guard position. His ball handling skills have greatly improved while using his natural scoring ability and size to overcome small defenders. Cunningham is a versatile athlete, able to play and guard multiple positions out on the perimeter.

As he enters the most important summer of his life, Cunningham recently announced a final list of 10 schools, including powerhouses Duke and Kentucky, along with the reigning national champion Virginia Cavaliers. With his preferred position being point guard, it’s important to note the various decisions and announcements that has already happened this NCAA Basketball. It could have an impact as to their respective chances of landing the five-star guard.
