Nike EYBL Dallas featured big games from many future NCAA basketball stars. Which players could receive recruiting boosts after their big weekends?
NCAA basketball recruiting is a never-ending process and the EYBL circuit is a great place for young stars to showcase their talents. Many of the top prospects compete in the EYBL every single year and programs around the nation definitely take notice. During the Dallas session of the league, teams were making their cases for a spot in Peach Jam while players looked to make another lasting impression with regards to their collegiate futures.
As one would expect, there were several standout performers. Of course, some of them were among the already highly-rated but there were also some underrated talents that showcased their full array of skills on the weekend. Each game on the EYBL circuit is an opportunity and many players seized their chances.
For the sake of this piece, I am limiting the standout players discussed to just those from the 2020 class. There were several 2021 athletes that also played extremely well over the weekend but I wanted to narrow the focus a bit more. These players are bound to see an increase in their recruitment as a result of superb weekends in Dallas.
(Keep in mind that I was not able to watch every game of the session, but caught action from just about every team on the circuit via stream. Statistics for the weekend were calculated using box scores from NikeEYBL.com or D1 Circuit. All recruiting rankings used in this piece were found via 247Sports Composite.)
