Scottie Barnes – Nightrydas Elite (FL)

SF | 6-foot-8 | 210 lbs | No. 4 overall

Scottie Barnes showed exactly why he is one of the most highly-rated players in the 2020 class during the EYBL Dallas session. An all-around stud with ability to impact each game in a variety of ways, he showcased a wide array of his skills during the session. He boasts a great frame at 6-foot-8, instinctual passing and court vision, and can definitely create shot attempts for himself as well.

Barnes was a consistent force in many different facets during this past weekend while starring alongside another top recruit in Isaiah Todd. Over the course of the event, Barnes put together ridiculous averages of 24.0 points (.549/.250/.743), 9.0 rebounds, 7.6 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game. He is simply dominant.

Due to the nature of his high ranking, Barnes is being targeted by the “elite of the elite” in college basketball. He has narrowed his list down to eight schools already as well as his recruitment is definitely starting to shrink. Duke, Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio State, Oregon, California, and Miami are those still involved. Some, though, have hinted at Michigan joining the fray now that Juwan Howard is the head coach.
