Florida basketball is turning into a recruiting juggernaut under head coach Mike White. Who are the new 2019 commits joining the roster?

Florida basketball has been one of the top programs in the entire nation for the past several years. And while former head coach Billy Donovan (rightfully) gets the majority of the credit for this, the new top man is doing just fine himself. Mike White has been at the helm of the program for the last four seasons, reaching the Big Dance in each of the past three. It is off the court, though, where his major successes have been as of late as the Gators are bringing in the No. 7 overall 2019 recruiting class.

This class, which features five commitments, represents the program’s third consecutive incoming group ranked in the top-20 nationally. In my opinion, Florida is on the verge of turning into a recruiting juggernaut on the national stage and the expectation should be that improved success on the court is coming very soon. The program has reached three straight NCAA Tournaments and it might not be long until another deep run is coming.

Coach White and Co. did an incredible job building this 2019 recruiting class and it is one of my favorites in the nation. In addition to bringing in some incredible “one-and-done” firepower, the coaching staff also sought out some under-the-radar four-year prospects that could turn into stars while in Gainesville.

Let’s take a deeper look into the five newcomers to the Florida basketball program. (Note: All recruiting rankings used in this article were found via 247Sports Composite.)
