Jason Jitoboh – Chattanooga, TN

C | 6-foot-11 | 290 lbs | No. 237 overall

A bit of a throwback big man, Jason Jitoboh is already extremely well-built with a bright future. He is a strong body at 6-foot-11 and does a nice job on both ends of the floor. Although likely not a starting caliber player as a freshman, he has a developing all-around game due to how well he uses his size. On the offensive end of the floor, Jitoboh is a relatively talented post threat to make up for not being a great rim-runner. Defensively, he is very hard to finish around or over due to his height and strength. He also exhibits nice timing as a shot-blocker.

Jitoboh is a raw player right now, on the whole, but Florida has done a nice job with player development in recent years. He clearly has plenty of size and has the potential to grow his game into being a starter at some point in his career. It is also important to mention that he already shows some nice passing vision for a big man and that is an underrated skill, especially for a player that will likely find his fair share of post touches.

It is reasonable to believe that Jitoboh will be a redshirt candidate during his first year on campus as the program looks to develop his skill set. As a member of Woodz Elite on the EYBL circuit last spring, the big man averaged 10.1 points (70.7% FG), 5.6 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game in seven contests.
