What parts of Reid’s game needs work?

Reid may look the part and flash aspects of his game that get people excited envisioning what he could be, but in the pre-draft process Reid raised a red flag as he showed up to the NBA Combine grossly out of shape, registering the highest body fat percentage of any player invited to the combine with 14%, the next closest was Dedric Lawson who had 8.9%. That brings into question his dedication and work ethic when it comes to basketball, as he also lost a considerable amount of weight before arriving at LSU.

On the floor, Reid’s offensive game can get out of control at times and when it does, he has a tendency to try to do too much, often resulting in a turnover. Another thing that could hamper Reid at the next level is that he isn’t the greatest athlete and his lack of lateral quickness and foot movement that needs improving, could make defending quicker players his size more difficult and offensively, he may not be able to attack defenders as easily as he did in college.

Lastly, there are times on offense when things don’t go his way, he can get frustrated which can lead to a questionable shot selection.
