The NBA Draft is always full of mystery, especially with regards to the second round. Who might be some of the biggest sleepers in the 2019 edition?

The NBA Draft is, year in and year out, one of the most exciting basketball events of the year. Even though there are not any games actually played on the court, NBA teams spend the night looking for their next superstar while young players around the world are hoping to hear their name called as a member of the “future of the league.” For fans, the excitement centers around who their favorite team will select and the uncertainty of when each player will be selected. Additionally, though, there is always going to be the constant discussion of value at each pick.

Because of this, second-round selections can be some of the most important as a “hit” would indicate receiving plenty of value on a low pick in the NBA Draft. Over the past few years, there have been several second-rounders that have emerged as future All-Stars at the next level and each team will be looking to land one of those high-upside players that pan out. Finding these sleepers is never easy as it is impossible to predict how a player’s career might play out, but there are a few very solid prospects that are projected to be second-round picks in this draft.

This article will take a look at five of those potential sleepers and analyze what they might be able to bring to an NBA team. For the most part, I eliminated players that have been projected to be selected in the first round by any mock draft. These are truly the players that will most likely be picked in the second round or go undrafted completely. Will your favorite team be able to add any of these potential sleepers and help them reach their ceiling as players?
