The 2019 NBA Draft is right around the corner. And with the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade occurring, what changes in the lottery?

The 2019 NBA Draft has been all about the New Orleans Pelicans. It started with the lottery, where the revamped odds turned the NBA on its heads. New Orleans landed the No. 1 overall pick, which is projected by anyone who knows about the league to be Zion Williamson, the Duke superstar with massive expectations and excitement.

But the Pelicans weren’t done, waiting for the right time to deal their disgruntled superstar Anthony Davis. It was the Lakers who made the best offer, trading away several promising young players and future 1st round draft picks/swaps. That includes the No. 4 overall pick, giving New Orleans two in the top four. Actually, No. 4 is where many believe is where the draft truly begins, since the top three picks are almost locks.

In the past few months, our outstanding writer Brian Rauf has been doing monthly mock NBA Drafts, each time having intriguing scenarios for projected selections. You can check out his latest, just below.

But rather than go to him again, we here at Busting Brackets have decided to create a team mock draft. 12 of us were randomly given five picks each and did our own simulation from 1-60. There were some surprise picks and players who rose higher/fell lower than expected. After the draft, we each did a write-up (name will be listed by selection) for each player. Here are the guys who participated in this mock draft:

Sam Jarrett – @DennisSmithIII                                        Trenton Corn – @theLob_Trenton

Tristan Freeman – @hoopsnut351                                 Alex Weber – @Weber2MG

Brian Rauf – @brauf33                                                       Josh Stevens – Phills343434@gmail.com

Lukas Harkins – @hardwiredsports                                Daniel Benjamin – @ZoneDeeSports

Trevor Marks – @twmarks_                                               Zac Voynow – @zacvoynow

Jerran Anderson – @heregojayagain                               Brandon Simberg – @BrandonSimberg

*Brian Rauf was unable to do the write-ups for his players due to the birth of his first child (congrats!!!). Tristan Freeman wrote for his picks.

It was a fun experience for our group so please check out all 60 picks of the 2019 Busting Brackets NBA Draft!!
