NCAA Basketball four-star 2020 recruit R.J. Davis has received plenty of attention from major programs recently and now has announced that he will be making a trio of college visits soon.

Consensus NCAA Basketball 2020 four-star prospect R.J. Davis will take his first official college visit to Georgetown (June 26-27), per Adam Zagoria of ZAGSBLOG. Davis is slated to take an unofficial victory visit to Marquette on June 19 and to Pittsburgh in the next few weeks. His father, Robert Davis, also said that he will visit UCLA later this summer.

The White Plains (NY) native picked up offers from Vanderbilt and UCLA on Friday. He now holds 23 offers with 16 of them from power-seven programs. Georgetown, Pitt, UCLA, Marquette, Florida, and Kansas are reportedly the early favorites in his recruitment but expect other top programs to get involved over the summer.

Davis is ranked just outside the top 100 by 247Sports (No. 102) and Rivals ( No. 104). However, 247Sports Composite and ESPN have him situated at No. 89 and No. 92 in the class, respectively.

The 6’0 point guard is a true floor general as he possesses great vision and is a fantastic distributor. But make no mistake about it, he absolutely knows how to put the ball in the hoop. Davis is extremely quick and once he gets to hole, he has the toughness to finish at the basket — with an array of finishes — even through contact.

Davis, who was named to the NBPA top-100 all-tournament team on Saturday, is Archbishop Stepinac’s all-team leading scorer. He is coming off a fantastic junior campaign leading the CHSAA in scoring at 25.4 points a game to go along with 7.0 rebounds, 4.9 assists along with 1.7 steals. He also shot 49% from the field, 34% from the 3-point line and 84% from the charity stripe.

With the 2019 NCAA Basketball Recruiting class wrapping up, the attention is turning onto next year’s. And with a good Summer performance, look for Davis to be one of the most coveted ball handlers that teams will make a big push for.
