It takes a few years to see which NBA Draft picks turn out to be stars and great players. Five years from now, who will be the best from this group?

The NBA Draft is an event that never disappoints. NBA fans watch worldwide to see which new addition’s will be added to their favorite team, and hopefully the player added is one of their favorites as fans have opinions on nearly every prospect thanks to mock drafts and player profiles available to every player.

I said the draft never disappoints, and it didn’t. Right before the draft the Pacers acquired TJ Warren from the suns for the 32nd pick and cash. (Surprisingly the last trade of the night involving an impact player)

Minutes after the Atlanta hawks traded picks 8, 17, and 35 along with a ” Cleveland Heavily protected 1st in 2020″ (Woj) to the Pelicans for Solomon Hill and the 4th pick.

Then a few minutes after that the Timber-Wolves traded Dario Saric and the 11th pick to the Suns for the 6th pick in the draft.

That was all before the draft even happened. The madness died down a little after that but the teams selections kept us all guessing, and turned my mock draft into something as accurate as my march madness bracket.

That gets us to the task at hand. Predicting five of these players drafted in the first round who will be known as the five best in the draft class in the next 5 years.

Now, keep in mind this is all personal opinion, but i’ll be using a players fit and role within his team, how good his team is, and of course, the players upside and whether or not I think he can tap into the upside.

So without further ado, sit back, relax, enjoy some snacks, and here we go!!
