The Indiana Hoosiers do not have a commit from the NCAABasketball class of 2020 yet but that could change soon.

Indiana Hoosiers coach Archie Miller has done a pretty good job at bringing in homegrown talent the past two years and could be on the verge of keeping two of the state’s top 2020 NCAA Basketball prospects in Indiana. Rivals’ Eric Bossi recently said that he believes that three-plus star shooting guard Trey Galloway will commit to the Hoosiers in the not so distant future. Galloway, who is one of the Miller’s top targets, is ranked as the fifth-best prospect in the state by 247Sports Composite and second-best by 247Sports.

Overall, 247Sports Composite lists him as a three-star prospect and ranked 182nd in the country overall while 247Sports has him as a four-star recruit and at No. 123. ESPN has the Culver (Ind.) native also a four-star recruit and No. 1 in the state. However, he has been given three stars by Rivals and is unranked in their listings.

Galloway was in Bloomington for an official visit a few weeks and spoke to Jackson Yeary of Inside the Hall on June 25 about the trip.

"“I just thought it was really cool getting to spend that amount of time with the coaching staff. I spent breakfast, lunch and dinner with them. Just getting a feel of who they are, and kind of them getting a feel of who I am. It was good to be around them and kind of talk basketball and non-basketball and see how I fit in with the program and how they think I fit in.”"

The 6-5, 200-pound wing can really shoot the ball but is at his best when attacking the rim. He also has decent athleticism, is a good rebounder and a strong defender. He averaged 16.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest as junior at Culver Academies.

While Indiana is widely considered the overwhelming favorites to obtain Galloway’s services, Iowa, Notre Dame, California-Berkeley, Cincinnati, and Georgetown are also in the mix.

Galloway said he doesn’t have any plans to take any future visits or a timetable to make a decision.

Miller has also invested a lot of time in recruiting Galloway’s good friend and travel teammate Anthony Leal. Leal, who is a  Bloomington native, has been on IU’s campus a number of times over the last 12 months.
