There are plenty of top 2019 recruits joining Big East basketball. Who is the top player joining each program and how will they make their impact?

Big East basketball is one of the top conferences every single year. With a few elite programs and depth all the way down to the end of the rankings, the conference is clearly a high-major and trending in the right direction with positive momentum. It is nearly impossible to build a strong college basketball program without quality recruiting and all of these programs are starting to land some of the best players in the country. Six of the conference’s 10 teams landed at least one top-100 player in the 2019 class.

Due to these recruiting wins by each program, it is reasonable to assume that fans will see plenty of action from freshmen during this coming season. For many teams, their top recruits fill major needs right away and their impact could be what dictates the season for that team. Even if they are not all immediate contributors, you can be sure that many of these incoming players will become household names during their times in the Big East.

For this article, we are going to take a look at the top-rated recruit joining each program. Several of these are rated in the top-100 nationally and have the potential to be stars at the college level. All of the recruiting rankings used in this article were found via 247Sports Composite. It will certainly be fun to see all of these players take the court in the Big East basketball conference and we are only a few months away from that occurring.
