Gonzaga basketball is one of the top programs in the nation every single year. Which prospects make the Bulldogs’ intriguing 2019 recruiting class?

Gonzaga basketball has arguably been the most consistent program in the nation over the last several years. Even though the Bulldogs are yet to cut down the final nets as national champions, they have been knocking on the door and it is hard to ignore their incredible string of NCAA Tournament appearances and deep runs. Head coach Mark Few is clearly one of the best in the business and that is impossible to argue. Gonzaga is one of the best programs in the country as a result of their incredible eye for talent and knack for player development.

Now, though, the Bulldogs are starting to showcase their abilities on the recruiting trail. After losing several key players this offseason, Gonzaga needed a quick influx of talent and that is exactly what the program was able to do. Coach Few was able to secure six commitments, including four in the top-75, for this class. The group, as a whole, is ranked at No. 12 in the nation. This is an incredible amount of talent joining the program and it will be interesting to see how they develop over the years.

Gonzaga does have some returning talent for this coming season but it is also reasonable to expect that some of these incoming commits will make an immediate impact on the team. There are definitely some holes to fill in the rotation and many fans are expecting major freshmen contributions. Gonzaga is widely regarded as a preseason top-25 team in the nation for 2019-20 and this recruiting class is a major reason why.

With the season several months away, let’s take a look at each incoming commit and analyze what they might bring to the table. (All recruiting ranked are via 247Sports Composite.)
