Indiana Basketball hasn’t had a good season in what feels like forever. After last season’s failure with Romeo Langford, will the Hoosiers be able to reach the NCAA Tournament with this new recruiting class?

Indiana Basketball got rid of Tom Crean due to his ineffectiveness the last couple of seasons he coached at IU. After bringing in Archie Miller, one of the most sought after mid-major coaches at the time they hired him, they believed he would bring success. Miller was able to bring in a top-10 recruiting class, headlined by current NBA Rookie, Romeo Langford.

However, this star-studded class was unable to bring the results many Hoosier fans wanted. They miraculously managed to sweep Michigan State in the regular season, but they failed to make the NCAA Tournament. Optimists would point out that Langford is the only productive player from that top-10 2018 class that left the program, and those players entering their second season should show major improvement.

Pair that class with the incoming 2019 class, ranked 56th in the country, they have talent that can be developed over time. This class only features two incoming freshmen, but Indiana is also bringing in Butler graduate transfer, Joey Brunk, a former four-star recruit. This is the third year in the Miller era, and many Hoosier fans are expecting results.

Let’s get a look at the incoming players in this class, and determine what kind of impact they are going to have on the program.
