13. Jordan Poole’s stunner vs. Houston (2018)

Michigan, the No. 3 seed, found itself in an intense battle with No. 6 Houston in the second round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. The back-and-forth affair looked to be over when Devin Davis made a couple of free throws to give the Cougars a two-point lead with under 30 seconds to go.

The Wolverines struggled to find an open shot on the other end to tie until Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman slipped to the rim, but was unable to finish, giving the Cougars a chance to put the game away with two free throws and just 3.9 seconds left.

Those two free throws would haunt Davis forever, as he was 9-for-10 on the night heading to the line one final time. He missed short on his first shot and just to the right on his second as Michigan rebounded the ball and immediately called timeout.

What happened next was insane.

Abdur-Rahkman took the inbounds pass and was immediately doubled. He dropped the ball off to Jordan Poole, who immediately became a household name with his long 3-pointer to win at the buzzer.

This shot would help propel Michigan to the national title game.
