23. Duke half-court shot to shock Virginia Tech (2006)

Virginia Tech had a chance to pull off an unthinkable early season upset against ACC foe Duke at Cameron Indoor, which was almost unheard of in the Mike Krzyzewski era. 1.6 seconds stood between the Hokies and a statement win.

And then Sean Dockery happened.

The Hokies were close to a 6-2 start to the year after a huge road win over No. 1 and undefeated Duke, but the Blue Devils worked their magic yet again.

A long inbounds pass to Dockery just past half court set up the buzzer-beating beauty. He took one dribble and launched the half-court shot, which seemed like it was in the air for eternity. As it splashed through the net, the Cameron Crazies lived up to their name and the arena was deafening.

Just as shocked as the Hokies were, the Blue Devils were just as surprised at the make and dog-piled Dockery immediately after the shot fell.

Never count Duke out at home, even when it needs a half-court shot to win.
