The Battle 4 Atlantis will be the best and most competitive early season NCAA basketball tournaments. How do all eight teams stack up against each other?

NCAA Basketball’s early-season tournaments are designed with the idea of putting some of the nation’s best teams on the court together in a neutral-court setting a la the NCAA Tournament.

The Battle 4 Atlantis has quickly become one of those premier events, and this year’s eight-team field looks like it will be the best and most competitive of the 13 tournaments that will run during the non-conference schedule.

Three teams – Gonzaga, North Carolina, and Seton Hall – are expected to be ranked in the top 15 when the AP preseason poll comes out. Four others – Alabama, Iowa State, Michigan, and Oregon – have annual NCAA Tournament expectations, making this tournament a real showcase for some of the country’s premier programs.
