Indiana basketball has four scholarships available for the 2020 class. Which recruiting prospects are head coach Archie Miller targeting?
Indiana basketball is one of the most storied programs in all of college basketball. While there has not been a ton of postseason success in recent years, the program still holds a strong place in the national eye. With that said, though, the program is in need of a resurgence as they have now missed three consecutive NCAA Tournaments. Additionally, the team is not facing high expectations for this coming campaign. Because of this, the future of the program potentially relies on head coach Archie Miller’s recruiting efforts in the 2020 class.
With four open scholarships available, Coach Miller will have an opportunity to possibly land a top-20 class in the country. The Hoosiers have been one of the nation’s top recruiting programs for the last several years and their label as one of nation’s “bluebloods”, despite a lack of success recently, certainly helps their case. With regards to the 2020 class, Coach Miller has issued his fair share of scholarship offers already and the program seems to be in good shape with regards to some of the top targets.
With that said, though, Indiana is yet to land a commitment in the class. There is clearly plenty of time left in the recruiting season but the program has to be hoping for a commitment fairly soon. There is plenty of positive momentum at this point in time as the coaching staff seems to be entering the “closing phase” with a number of prospects.
Now, without any further ado, let’s dive into analyzing some of the top targets on the radar for Indiana basketball in the 2020 class.
