Gonzaga Bulldogs

Gonzaga has been one of the nation’s top programs for the last several years. But although head coach Mark Few’s squads have been incredibly consistent with reaching the NCAA Tournament and making some deep runs, the program is not typically regarded as a recruiting powerhouse. Over the last several months, though, the Bulldogs have started to make some serious splashes on the national scale. After landing the No. 12 overall recruiting class in 2019, Coach Few has already snagged two top-60 commits in the 2020 class.

Small forward Julian Strawther (No. 52) and combo guard Dominick Harris (No. 55) make up this hot start for the program but it seems as though the coaching staff will have another commit up their sleeve. At this point in time, the Bulldogs look like heavy contenders for three of the top-20 players in the entire class. Most notably, the program currently holds all five crystal ball predictions for Jalen Suggs (No. 13), an extremely talented combo guard from Minneapolis. He would be an outstanding snag for the program as a tremendous athlete with plenty of skill as well.

Additionally, Gonzaga recently made the final six for Walker Kessler (No. 16) and have also shown plenty of interest in highly-touted point guard Daishen Nix (No. 15). These will be tough recruiting battles to win but I don’t want to count out Mark Few. With Strawther, Harris, and potentially Suggs in tow, though, this would be an amazing recruiting class for Gonzaga.
