Earl Timberlake has announced his list of seven schools which he will consider taking his talents to. But which NCAA Basketball school would he best fit in with?

Earl Timberlake is currently ranked 38th in ESPN’s Top 100 for the Class of 2020. As a 6’6″ 215lb small forward, Timberlake will have the opportunity to make some serious noise at whichever school he decides to take his talents to.

The question is where will Timberlake take his talents to though? Earlier this past week Timberlake announced his list of seven schools which he would consider playing for.

Those schools are North Carolina, Alabama, Miami, Pitt, Seton Hall, Providence and South Carolina. Looking at this list, three teams jump out to me right away and those are North Carolina, Alabama and Pitt.

The reason these teams jump out to me are because two of these schools have new coaches with experience of making deep tournament runs and are now at programs where they have serious opportunities and the other is North Carolina.

However, the other schools, Miami, Seton Hall, Providence and South Carolina are nothing to sneeze at either. Between these four we have seen a total of 12 tournament appearances, two Sweet Sixteens and one Final Four, since 2015.

This being said, all seven of these schools appear to have a legitimate chance at landing the small forward out of Maryland. However, just because Timberlake announced his final seven schools does not mean we should expect a decision right around the corner.

As mentioned earlier, Timberlake is ranked 38th in the Class of 2020 by ESPN and between the 37 other players ranked above him, we have a total of six decisions. Two are headed to Duke, one to Kentucky, one to North Carolina, one to Virginia and one to Gonzaga.

So keep this in mind because there have surprisingly been very few decisions made up to this point. So with this being said lets jump into where we could see Timberlake wind up.

These schools are ranked from best fit, to worst fit.
