Texas A&M Basketball 2019-20 non-conference schedule has been finalized. Let’s take a look at how the slate looks for newly appointed Buzz Williams.

Welcome to College Station Buzz Williams. After finding solid success at Marquette and Virginia Tech, Buzz is returning to the state he was born and raised in and will try his hand at creating a consistent winner in the at Texas A&M Basketball. Life in the SEC is only getting more challenging as the league has gone from being to a top heavy conference to a down right brutal buzz-saw throughout. But with the newly released non-conference schedule, we have a clearer picture of what to expect in year one of Buzz with the Aggies.

Although Texas A&M will not play a single true road game this coming season, there’s nothing particularly easy about this slate. Of the twelve scheduled games, nine will be played at home in Reed Arena but most of these will come against quality opponents. In addition, Texas A&M will play in the Orlando Invitational which features a very solid group of eight teams.

Texas A&M is certainly hoping to avoid the disappointing 14-18 (6-12) record in 2018-19 after a successful sweet sixteen run just a year prior. With a tough but home friendly non-conference slate, I’d say it’s fair to have some confidence that Buzz can do positive things with the Aggies in 2019-20. I’m excited to see the development of junior Savion Flagg , who seems ready to get to work after getting some feedback from testing the NBA waters. If Buzz can help Flagg lead this team strong out of the gates in November, it will go along way in securing big things this coming season.

Let’s take a look at each opponent by ranking all twelve of the matchups.
