Cade Cunningham who is currently ranked second in the Class of 2020 has cut his NCAA Basketball list to five. But which of the five is the best fit for the point guard?

Cade Cunningham is the second ranked player based on ESPN’s Top-100 and on Thursday he announced his final five NCAA Basketball schools. At this moment in time only two players ranked in the top-10 by ESPN have announced their college decisions.

What this means is that by the time Cunningham makes his decision, things could drastically change. However, this of course is dependent upon how soon he makes his decision.

Cunningham‘s final five schools are North Carolina, Kentucky, Washington, Florida and Oklahoma State. Of these five schools the only two that have yet to get a commitment from a player ranked in the Top-100 for the Class of 2020 are Washington and Florida.

The other three, North Carolina, Kentucky and Oklahoma State each have one, but if they any of these three were to land Cunningham he would become their highest ranked recruit.

Cunningham is a great playmaker with a high basketball IQ and he can get to the rim no matter how much traffic there might be on his way there. There are however a couple of things Cunningham could improve on before he takes his first steps onto a college campus.

Cunningham needs to improve his shot around the perimeter and he could also improve his on-ball defending. Cunningham is a good off-ball defender, but he needs to improve his on-ball defense.

If he manages to do this Cunningham has the chance to bring whichever school he picks far into the NCAA Tournament while also being a better well-rounded player who could be a lottery pick once he enters the NBA Draft.

Without further ado, lets take a look at what schools would be the best fit for Cunningham from worst to first.
