Outside of the five-star NCAA Basketball prospects, there are plenty of potential stars from the 2019 recruiting class. Here are 10 to look out for.

Many freshman NCAA Basketball players from this decade have been known to be dominant and freak athletes. Think of the crazy first-year phenoms we have had recently. Zion Williamson of Duke just last year. Karl-Anthony Towns of Kentucky in 2016. Aaron Gordon from Arizona in 2014. Anthony Davis from Kentucky (again) in 2012. This trend will continue as long as the NBA doesn’t allow players to get drafted straight out of high school.

The upcoming NCAA Basketball season will also have some big-time players and future NBA superstars in the incoming freshman class. These types of players can be found all across the country and in large amounts.

Out West, look out for the duos of Isaiah Stewart and Jaden McDaniels at Washington as well as Josh Green and Nico Mannion from Arizona. In the East, check out Cole Anthony from North Carolina, Vernon Carey Jr. of Duke, Jay Wright’s prized recruit in Bryan Antoine at Villanova. In the South, you already know the #1 player in the nation in James Wiseman for Memphis, Anthony Edwards in Georgia, Scottie Lewis down at Florida, Tyrese Maxey of Kentucky. Those are just a few of the popular names the college basketball universe will be watching closely.

But what about the players who not many people may be paying attention to or are forgetting about? The sleepers? The underdogs? The “under-the-radar” type players? Here are the ten freshmen who you have to ignore their high school rankings and keep a close eye on in 2019-2020.

Honorable Mentions – Christian Koloko (Arizona C), Tyrese Samuel (Seton Hall PF), Mario McKinney (Missouri PG/SG), Jaelen House (Arizona State PG), Pat McCaffery (Iowa SF)
