One of only 13 major conference schools to reach the NCAA tournament in six of the last seven seasons, Oklahoma Basketball looks to build on last years 2nd round showing in the march madness tournament with the new era of talent in Norman.

Oklahoma Basketball is going through a huge roster overhaul, as a departing senior class has left, and seven newcomers have arrived.

OU is returning just three starters from last season in Jamal Bieniemy, Kristian Doolittle, and Brady Manek. Doolittle and Manek each ranked in the top-3 for the Sooners last season in points, rebounds, and blocks last season while Bieniemy led the team in both assists and steals.

There are two other returning Sooners as well, both, however, didn’t play quality minutes for the team last season.

Austin Reaves is a sharpshooting transfer from Wichita State and had to sit out last season, due to the NCAA’s transfer policy.

Kur Kuath is an athletic and lengthy big man from Salt Lake Community College. He missed almost all of last season due to a back injury. He played 6 games and saw a total of 33 minutes. Oklahoma is currently pursuing medical hardship for Kuath, hoping to gain another year of eligibility.
