Possible Commodores’ rotation

Some people believe that Nesmith is on the verge of becoming a star in the SEC after a very successful first season and Lee has one of the guard spots locked up. In terms of the other guards, there are some important questions that could decide the direction of Stackhouse’s first season. The development of junior guard, as the 6’2 native of Houston’s growth was stagnant under Drew, averaging less than four points per game in his first two seasons. Secondly, will Pippen, Jr. and/or Wright be ready to jump in right away and contribute.

In the frontcourt, similar questions abound, who else besides Nesmith will contribute on the inside? Expect Disu to get a lot of run, and what sort of contribution can Jankovic give them as a stretch-4 who is comfortable with the ball in his hands on the perimeter? Lastly, much like Evans, can junior captain, 6-8 Matthew Moyer and big man Ejike Obinna who redshirted last season flourish under a new regime?

Aside from Nesmith and Lee, the starting lineup and rotation are up for grabs, but Stackhouse’s first season will likely hinge on how ready unproven players, returning and newcomers alike are ready to contribute for the Commodores.
