Canadians are spread throughout the NCAA Basketball hoops landscape. In total, 144 athletes call Canada their home. From stars on elite teams to mid-major freshmen looking to make their marks, we uncover every Canadian basketball player in Division 1 this season.

A major theme over the course of NCAA Basketball’s evolution has been the influx of worldwide talent making their way across campuses nationwide. No country holds truer to this than the Great White North, as Canadian basketball has grown to be leaps and bounds over the decade.

From first overall picks in back-to-back years in Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins to former Duke superstar and recent 3rd overall pick RJ Barrett, Canadians have not only made Division 1 rosters, but made an impact while there.

In total, there are 144 total players from Canada on Division 1 rosters, a fully researched list accumulated through hours of roster searching and recruit checking, constructed exclusively by me. 30 of the 32 Conferences have at least one Canadian rostered, with the Horizon League (9) and the America East (8) leading the way. Harvard, Illinois-Chicago, Santa Clara and Canisius lead the way with 3 players rostered a piece.

To dive even further, 106 of the 144 players are from the Province of Ontario, including 86 from the Greater Toronto Area, with Quebec a distant second with 19. British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Nova Scotia all have at least one player as well.

In order to present this list of phenomenal athletes, they will be broken down by conference, with one per conference receiving some more information about them and their game.

*There are no Canadians from either the Big South or the SoCon this upcoming season
