Dawson Garcia is one of the most highly sought-after prospects in the 2020 recruiting class. Which seven NCAA basketball programs made his cut?

Recruiting season is heating up and NCAA basketball programs around the country are eagerly seeking commitments from some of the top prospects. Dawson Garcia, a 6-foot-11 forward from Prior Lake, MN, is right near the top of the priority list for a number of schools. Ranked as the No. 30 overall player in the entire class, Garcia is clearly among the best available prospects and has therefore been targeted by many.

For the most part, Garcia’s recruitment has been kept quiet but he recently announced his top seven schools. It is possible that other schools sneak in over the coming months but his top list currently consists of Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, Marquette, Memphis, Minnesota, and North Carolina. This is definitely an impressive list and it is also important to mention that there does not seem to be a clear-cut favorite for Garcia’s commitment.

As a result, Dawson Garcia’s recruitment is one of the most intriguing to follow in the country. Nobody really knows what to expect regarding his future destination. Considering Garcia’s all-around game as a mobile forward/center hybrid with the ability to attack defenders off the dribble, he would be a valuable addition to any roster. He is a great fit for the modern game and boasts his fair share of versatility as well.
