Aaron Brooks (Oregon 04-07)

  •  Best College Season: 17.7 ppg, 4.3 APG, 4.3 RPG, 1.4 SPG

The 6 foot 161 pound Aaron Brooks was the big man on campus as soon as he stepped foot in Eugene. Aaron had some huge shoes to fill with the departure of Luke Ridnour who left for the NBA the year before, but the young guard was ready for the test. The Duck point guard jumped in and immediately made an impact as he was an All-Freshman Team performer in the Pac-10 on a Duck team that made the NIT semifinals.

His sophomore and Junior seasons he put up impressive numbers on some really bad Ernie Kent led squads, leading up to his breakout senior season. This is the season that propelled the former High School All-American to a professional career that included 13 NBA seasons on 7 different NBA teams. He led the Oregon Ducks to an Elite 8 that year, that was capped off with a long list of individual awards including First Team All-Pac-12, NCAA Tournament All-Region, and Wooden Award Finalist.

He is now sharing a backcourt with the 18-year-old Ball on the Illawara Hawks.
