SEC Basketball is next in our Busting Brackets preseason series podcast episode previews. What are some predictions our guys have in store for us?

For this latest Busting Brackets podcast episode, it’s just our hosts Connor Hope and Brian Rauf taking on all of SEC Basketball. A lot happened in this conference alone in the offseason, including several coaching changes for programs looking to get back in the top-tier. The guys examine which newcomer they’re most interested in their first new year.

Arkansas and Alabama both have new head coaches to go along with intriguing respective rosters. Both teams have expectations of a potential NCAA Tournament bid this season. What do Hope and Rauf think about their aspirations? The same could be said about Buzz Williams and Texas A&M’s revamped roster. What should be made about the Aggies?

The Georgia Bulldogs may be the most fascinating team in SEC Basketball this season. They have a top-10 recruiting class led by No. 2 overall prospect Anthony Edwards. What are the guys’ thoughts on Coach Tom Crean and Georgia as they look to navigate the tough league?

The talk then turns to the projected top teams in the conference. Both Kentucky and Florida are both expected to be fighting for the SEC Basketball crown this season. Which program are the guys leaning towards winning the regular-season crown? There aren’t many questions about these teams but as for the next tier (LSU, Tennessee and Auburn), each will have to replace a ton of production. Which of them are in the best position to remain a contender?

Mississippi State, Ole Miss and South Carolina all return a fair amount of production but also lose their top respective players. The guys take a look at them as well as Missouri and where they stand in regards to SEC Basketball. Which of these teams are most likely to go dancing according to our hosts?
