Adam Miller is one of the top guard prospects in the 2020 recruiting class. Which six NCAA basketball schools made his final list?
Highly-touted 2020 recruit Adam Miller seems to be nearing his commitment. In addition to taking some visits this fall, the young guard also recently cut his list of potential destinations to just six schools. Considering his status as the No. 31 overall player in the class, it is no secret that some of the top programs in the country are eager to land a commitment. Miller’s final list consists of Wake Forest, Kansas, Arizona, Louisville, Arizona State, and Illinois.
Miller is a 6-foot-3 guard out of Chicago. He plays for Morgan Park HS and is widely regarded as an elite-level 3-and-D wing. Miller can fill it up at all three levels while also showcasing the ability to defend multiple positions. He is physically ready to play at the college level and boasts plenty of athleticism as well. His all-around talent was on display while playing on the Nike EYBL circuit.
Across 18 contests with Mac Irvin Fire (IL) this summer, Miller averaged 20.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. While he did struggle to find a rhythm from beyond the arc and shot just 31.8% from three, Miller is well-respected as a shooter and lets it fly at high volumes. His form is solid and it is reasonable to project that he will be a premier perimeter threat at the collegiate level.
Miller definitely looks the part of being a star shooting guard for one of the six programs remaining on his list. It seems likely that a commitment is looming for the young wing so let’s take a deeper dive into each of his finalists to analyze his potential fit.
