Despite losing Kegler, Baylor is still deep

As I said earlier, Baylor could be a very deep team in 2019. With Clark returning he will cement their interior game and with the roster Drew now has, he has the ability to play Clark with Vital in their more natural positions. If he wants to go smaller Drew could choose to play just one of the forwards with Clark, and have Butler, Bandoo, and new face Teague, giving the Bears three guys that can handle the ball, a dynamic big man in Clark and Vital who can help Clark on the boards.

In addition to those five guys, the Bears can use some of them and mix and match them with Davion Mitchell, Turner, and if they can prove to be more consistent on both ends of the floor, Thamba and Gillespie. The latter three will give them the opportunity to use a bigger line up based on opponents, game situations, etc. In terms of a go-to starting five, I think we will see Baylor roll with Clark and Vital in the frontcourt, which would be one of the best rebounding duos in the conference.

With the loss of Kegler, look for Thamba and Jordan to get the first crack at filling that spot, while Butler and Teague should hold down the backcourt. The hope being that Teague can take on more of the facilitation load and be a threat from the outside, forcing defenses to take some of their focus off of Clark.
