2020 top-tier NCAA Basketball recruit Ziaire Williams appears to have a change of heart and is now looking to stay out west.

Ziaire Williams is one of the nation’s top uncommitted 2020 NCAA Basketball prospects, and his recruiting appears to have changed direction. UNC was once considered the favorite to land the five-star small forward, but 247Sports Evan Daniels now believes that he will stay out west. While Daniels said that it is likely that Williams takes more visits, Arizona, along with Stanford and USC, are the current frontrunners for his services.

Duke, Oregon, and UCLA are also reportedly in the mix for the Lancaster (CA) native. Williams has taken official visits to just USC (Aug. 31) and UNC (Seot. 27) for the Tar Heels “Late Night with Roy” event.

The 6-7 wing is considered to be a consensus top-six player in 2020. He is ranked as the fifth-best prospect by both ESPN and 247Sports. Meanwhile, Rivals and 247Sports have him rated No. 6 in their rankings.

Williams is an elite athlete with good size and decent length. He possesses a sweet shooting stroke and is a consistent shot-maker, whether shooting off the catch or dribble. The Sierra Canyon high school product also can get to the basket, thanks to a quick first step, and he is a capable finisher at the rim.

The 2019 USA Today All-California second-team selection, who had a fantastic junior season at Notre Dame (CA) HS, was a member of USA’s U19 World Cup gold medal team this summer. He averaged 4.6 points, on 54.2% shooting (13-24), and 1.0 assist in just 56 minutes of floor time over seven games in Greece for the red, white, and blue. Williams transferred to Siera Canyon this past summer.

Williams is not expected to make his college decision until the spring.

2020 3-plus star forward Chris Moore cuts list to three

2020 prospect Chris Moore recently whittled his college wish list down to just Memphis, Auburn, and Arkansas from the 14 schools that he was considering in late July.

The 6-7, 220-pound athletic forward is a physical force who plays with high energy. He is an outstanding rim protector and a good rebounder.  Offensively, Moore excels around the rim, although he can face up and knock down short corner jumpers.

Moore is seen as a four-star prospect by 247Sports and Rivals, where he is No. 95 and No.100 on their lists, respectively. However, the West Memphis (AR) native has been handed a three-rating by 247Sports Composite (No. 127) along with ESPN.

Moore has taken official visits to Arkansas, Memphis, and Texas A&M. He is planning on making the trek to Auburn this upcoming weekend (Nov. 1-3).

Auburn and Memphis are believed to be the favorites to land his services.

Bradley Ezewiro picks LSU

The 2020 three-star center chose the

LSU Tigers

over six other schools on Oct. 26.

Ezewiro

is a physical presence who has some bounce to his game. He is strong, possesses good hands, and an excellent rebounder. While the Torrence (CA) native is a load down low, he runs the floor well and is continuing to work developing a perimeter game.

“It’s my dream school because when I was a really big fan of Naz[Reid] and Emmitt [Williams],” Ezewiro told Geaux247. “They were at that school, and now I’m there now. Naz was at the football game and was with us the whole time. We were just talking about the league and how he got there. He didn’t get drafted, but he still signed four years, $6 million, so it’s not about No. 1 pick or shoe deals.”

It appears that the 6-8 big man will join a crowded frontcourt in 2020 as the Tigers already have Darius Days, Trendon Watford, DeShawn Thomas, and Courtese Cooper as well as Williams. And all of them are underclassmen. But Williams is expected to head to NBA after this

Ezewiro chose LSU over New Mexico, USC, Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech.
