The Michigan State – Kentucky match-up in the Champions Classic will be a good one. What are some questions for the game?

The State Farm Champions Classic always puts on a good show for the fans. Considered one of the best non-conference slate between four great college hoops teams, the Champions Classic features Michigan State, Kentucky, Kansas, and Duke. This is my favorite non-conference tournament with many potential lottery picks playing. I just love seeing match-ups of top-caliber teams because it can give the players a sense of what it feels like to be playing against possible NBA players.

Michigan State – Kentucky is the 2nd match-up of the classic after Kansas-Duke.  This match-up features two great coaches in Tom Izzo and John Calipari. Izzo, who lead the Spartans to the 2019 Final Four, looks to get a big statement win against Kentucky early in the year. The Wildcats are looking to have a better performance than last year’s Champions Classic match-up against Duke. This match-up is featuring the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the country. Nothing like the two top-ranked teams going up against each other in a non-conference slate.

Lots of questions are going to be asked about what each team will have to do in order to win this game. Questions like specific players who need to step-up, game-plans for the coaches to execute, and so much more. When two powerhouses go up against each other, it’s going to be a good match-up, so there is a lot to look forward to for this match-up. Here are some questions for the game.
