Gonzaga Basketball will face their first real test of the season on Friday against the Aggies of Texas A&M. Here are three keys to victory for the Zags.

Gonzaga Basketball is 3-0 after a trio of easy wins at home against opponents ranked well outside the top-200, according to KenPom.

These were important tune-up games for the Zags, who are playing two true freshmen, two grad transfers and one reserve player who saw insignificant action in his first two seasons.

Now that the team is beginning to gel, they’ll have their first real test of the season, a true road game in College Station against the Aggies of Texas A&M.

A&M is not as much of a powerhouse as they have been in year’s past, but they are still a top-75 team in the country and boast a strong atmosphere at their home arena, which will challenge Gonzaga’s young players.

Killian Tillie’s potential return is a big storyline for fans to watch in this one, as well as the potential return of A&M guard T.J. Starks.

Those two players will have a big impact on this game, which should be won by the Zags but won’t come as easy as their previous contests.

Here are three keys to victory for Gonzaga. If Tillie is able to play and they are able to do these things well, victory will be all but guaranteed for Mark Few and his squad.
