The 2019 NCAA Basketball Hall of Fame Classic features four talented teams. Butler, Oklahoma, Stanford, and Missouri will be vying for the title.

With Feast Week beginning to take center stage across the country, it is clear that the 2019-20 NCAA basketball season is starting to hit its stride. Non-conference tournaments are in full swing and it is time for fans to stuff themselves with basketball as well as family time. And while the Maui Invitational and the Battle 4 Atlantis are well-known as the two most prestigious events at this time of the year, the Hall of Fame Classic is also worth mentioning.

The 2019 edition of the Hall of Fame Classic will once again take place in Kansas City, Missouri and will feature four high-major teams that currently boast a 20-1 record coming in. Stanford, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Butler represent some of the most successful programs in the country in recent season and all of them are hoping to compete for NCAA Tournament bids later in the year. As a result, this event could have postseason implications even if it is taking place in just the first month of the campaign.

The opening round of the event will occur on Monday (Nov. 25) as Butler/Missouri will kick things off prior to Oklahoma/Stanford taking the night shift. The winners will meet for the championship on the following day while the losers will also do battle. The HoF Classic appears to be one of the most underrated early-season events this season but every contest has the potential to be very competitive.

As tip-off for the event draws nearer, let’s take a deeper dive into the participants with a team-by-team breakdown as well as some predictions.
