Regular-season games are raging across NCAA basketball, but coaches always have one eye on the recruiting trail. Who are the top uncommitted 2020 prospects?

The 2019-20 NCAA basketball season is in full swing but coaches around the nation always seem to keep one eye on the recruiting trail. Even with the early signing period complete, there are still a ton of highly-regarded high-school talents left uncommitted. As a result, the potential is there for a few programs to turn their fortunes around and add some commits heading into the late signing period after the season. For the time being, Kentucky holds the No. 1 overall class in the entire country but there are programs still seeking commitments to potentially usurp that spot in the coming months – although that would be quite difficult. UK’s class is pretty special.

Now with the early signing period is finished, there are 14 uncommitted top-100 prospects in the country left. Two of these are players who recently reopened their recruitments after originally announcing their intent to play for high-major programs. Considering their respective statuses on the national stage, all of these players will be heavily targeted over the next few months as programs look to secure commitments for the future. This article will break down each of those uncommitted prospects by analyzing their playing styles and recruitments.

The next couple of months will surely be dominated by the actual play on the court from the top NCAA basketball programs but efforts on the recruiting trail are still worth monitoring. After all, landing high-quality recruits like these will allow programs to post successful seasons in the near future. With six of these uncommitted players ranked in the top-11 of the class, it is no secret that there are some difference-makers left uncommitted.
