How has the Big 12 Basketball teams performed the first month of the 2019-20 season? Here’s a ranking from the bottom to top.

After Kansas was dethroned as the annual Big 12 Basketball regular-season champion, there was a lot of anticipation for how 2019-20 would look like. The Jayhawks once again come in as a heavyweight thanks to their veteran players, while Texas Tech brought in some historic freshmen as they mount a title defense. The same goes for Kansas State, who tries to replace the huge amount of production from a year ago.

There are other capable contenders in the Big 12, including both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State who each return a ton of talent. Baylor is hoping that their transfers give them an edge, while Iowa State might have the best overall NBA Draft prospect. And lastly, West Virginia, Texas, and TCU are all looking for bounce-back seasons after missing the NCAA Tournament.

So far, Big 12 Basketball has looked good overall (as of Dec 9). All 10 teams currently have winning records, and Baylor (Charleston Classic), Kansas (Maui Invitational) and Oklahoma State (NIT Season Tip-Off) have each won their respective non-conference tournaments. Some of the others have solid resume wins that’ll hopefully pay off by Selection Sunday.

There are a couple of weeks left of non-conference play before Big 12 Basketball teams start an intense battle with one another. With a month of data to use, here is a look at where the 10 teams stand, from No. 10 to No. 1.
