Arizona State Basketball won an ugly game against Prairie View A&M on Wednesday night, but they’ll need to be much better against Georgia on Saturday if they want to extend their win streak.

Heading into Saturday’s game in Tempe, Arizona State Basketball has played their way to a 7-2 record, with their only two losses coming in their season opener against Colorado and against defending champion, Virginia. Since that loss to Virginia, ASU has won four in a row, most recently beating San Francisco, Louisiana, and Prairie View on this home-stand. They’ll be looking to remain unbeaten against teams currently outside the top 25 with a win this weekend.

To keep that record alive, they’ll need to beat a Georgia team who is 6-2 and has also only lost to ranked opponents this season. It is Georgia’s high flying offense that has gotten them off to this strong start. They are averaging 87 points per game and have continued to show off that offensive prowess with 85, 80, and 95 points in their last three games. Georgia will be hoping to avenge last season’s 2 point loss they suffered at home against an ASU team that was ranked #20 in the country at the time.

Both of these teams could play their way into the top 25 with a strong showing in this game (Georgia actually received four votes last week). Neither has lost to an unranked team and both have given trouble to a highly regarded opponent this season.

Here are three keys for Arizona State to get the win that will put them in the top-25 conversation on Saturday.
