The Kentucky Basketball team is coming off their second surprising home loss of the year on Wednesday. They must regroup as Ohio State comes to town for a huge game Saturday.

Kentucky Basketball lost to Utah on Wednesday night in another surprising outcome. The Wildcats had already lost at home to Evansville earlier in the year and have looked shaky at best this year.

They looked great in an opening season win against Michigan State, but since then they haven’t beaten anybody good. Their loss to the Utes isn’t as bad as their loss to Evansville, but it is still shocking.

The Wildcats rarely lose a non-conference game at home, better yet to teams like Utah and Evansville.

They will need to figure it out quickly because their next two games are going to be tough. They travel to Las Vegas to play Ohio State on Saturday before welcoming in in-state rival Louisville on the 28th. If they don’t come ready to play they could easily have four losses before the calendar turns to the new year.

The Wildcats will enter the game still ranked number six in the country but they definitely aren’t playing like a top ten team right now.[ But you could argue that there are very few teams that are. Even with that argument losses to Evansville and Utah are bad losses especially at home.

So what do the WIldcats need to do in order to upend the Buckeyes? We take a look at three keys for Kentucky in the battle of top ten teams.
