Rising – Jordan Nwora

It should come as no surprise that the best player on the No. 3 team in the Nation has been elevating his play in the early portion of the season.

Through 12 games this season, Jordan Nwora has been the best player and a steady presence for a Louisville team that has looked really strong.

The junior forward has raised his scoring average over 20 points per game (21.2 to be exact), and has looked the part of one of the better players in college basketball.

Nwora has always had solid athletic ability, but this season he has refined other areas of his game. His early three-point percentage of 41.4 percent on nearly six attempts per game has been encouraging to say the least.

Louisville has the chance to be a team that plays deep into March, and if that’s the case, Nwora is going to have his chance to shine in the spotlight time and time again. His blend of size, athleticism, and shooting are an intriguing package and one that front offices will surely have their eyes on moving forward.
