Gonzaga Basketball has been one of the premier programs in the country over the last 20 years. But even the current No. 1 team needs some gifts for Christmas.

This College Basketball season has been crazy, the sport does not have many dominant teams. That is one of the best explanations as to why there have already been six No. 1 teams this season. In the latest Associated Press poll released on Monday, Gonzaga Basketball were listed as the No. 1 team in the country. The team who has been playing the best basketball is now the team who comes in as the number one team in the country.

The ranking is going to come with a lot of the fans of the sport questioning as to why Gonzaga is the number one team in the country. The ranking for many does not seem justified, especially many of them only look at the fact that Gonzaga plays in the West Coast Conference and most years has an easy path to a conference championship. While that fact may be semi-true that still doesn’t explain why they have received a top 4 protected seed five out of the last seven seasons.

Christmas is upon us, and the Bulldogs and head coach Mark Few have a few things they would like to see under their tree. What more could they want considering they are already the number one team in the country and have one of the more impressive histories in the sport under current coach Mark Few.

Everybody wants something for Christmas, even if you already have everything. The Bulldogs find themselves on the Nice list this year. What have the Bulldogs asked Santa for this Christmas?
