Jordan Ford, G – Saint Mary’s, West Coast Conference

Saint Mary’s is another one of those mid-major programs that have been very successful in the past few years. The Gaels are a tough team, and they’ve always been competitive with Gonzaga in the West Coast Conference.

It should come as no surprise then that Jordan Ford, one of their best players, is someone who can find his name creeping onto NBA Draft radars. Ford, a junior, is leading the Gaels scoring 21.4 points per game while adding three rebounds, two assists, nearly two steals per game, and shooting 43.5 percent from deep.

At six-foot-one, Ford is capable of playing much bigger than his size. He posses a quick first step and is able to use his body to ward off defender’s when he enters the paint. That, combined with his lethal jumper, makes him a tough cover for anyone.

What adds to Ford’s stock is the fact that he plays for a winning program in St. Mary’s. He understands what it takes to win and how to be a professional. If the Gael’s can make some noise in conference play or come March, Ford is the guy that front offices will begin to take note of.
