WCC Basketball currently has the No. 1 team in the country. What are some questions for them and the rest of the league going forward?

Who would’ve thought at the beginning of this decade that WCC Basketball would be the home of a consistent No. 1 ranked team in the country? But that’s what has happened the last few years with the Gonzaga Bulldogs, getting to the top spot once again.

But Mark Few’s squad isn’t the only team enjoying some non-conference success heading into league play. Both Saint Mary’s and BYU have racked up impressive wins and both look like contenders capable of knocking off the Bulldogs. Meanwhile, San Francisco, Pacific and Santa Clara each have 11 non-conference wins themselves, although the Dons have done so against a much tougher schedule.

Still, the WCC once again showed why they’re one of the best “mid-major” conferences and capable of standing toe-to-toe with the Mountain West and even the Pac-12… at least Gonzaga is. But there are still plenty of unknowns with the league right as they’re about to face off against each other. So I asked a few Busting Brackets writers for some assistance. I asked each of the following guys five questions I had concerning the WCC:

Connor Hope – @CondorianFM

Andy Patton – @andypattonSEA

JD Caldwell – @jdcaldwell11

Thanks to these gentlemen once again for their contributors and please follow them for more takes on WCC Basketball and other college hoops matters. Without further ado, here is the roundtable Q/A for the conference.
