PAC 12

None of the power conferences seem to have a clear favorite as of right now. That is no different with the PAC 12. Everybody in the league is currently sitting with two losses or more and each has some key wins and some bad losses that have left NCAA basketball fans everywhere scratching their heads in confusion. With that, it is a good thing that we will not be confused too much longer. conference play will allow the league to sort itself out. Here are the matchups that will have the largest impact on the PAC 12 race.

5) Utah vs. Oregon (1/4, 2/16)

Utah is still a team that NCAA basketball fans do not know too much about. I mean, after upsetting Kentucky, they were beaten 80-52 at the hands of San Diego State.  A home game with a top ten Oregon team on January 4th is the perfect opportunity for them to get back on their feet.

4) Utah vs. Washington (1/23)

If Utah’s upset over Kentucky was no fluke, and their huge loss to San Diego state was, then Utah will be a force to reckon with in the PAC 12. Washington will look to prevent Utah’s upset bid. Utah forward, Timmy Allen (21.0 ppg), and Washington forward, Timmy Allen (19.2 ppg) will provide the matchup that makes this game fun.

3) Washington vs. Arizona (1/30, 3/7)

The games between these two will feature some of the best Freshman in NCAA basketball. On top of that, these teams loaded with freshmen are both capable of having seasons that end in PAC 12 Championships and deep NCAA Tournament runs.

2) Colorado vs. Oregon (1/2, 2/13)

Colorado and Oregon are kicking off PAC 12 in a game that has could potentially be one of the best of the 2019-20 season. The game in Boulder January 2nd will yield an environment that strongly favors this Colorado team looking to make a statement on the national level.

1) Oregon vs. Arizona (1/9, 2/22)

In games that feature the talented Freshman of Arizona like Zeke Nnaji and Nico Mannion, it may be the experience of Oregon in guys like Payton Pritchard and Anthony Mathis that allows them to have the upper hand. These games of experience vs. young talent are always exciting, especially when they feature teams that are fighting for league supremacy.
