
Atlantic 10 Basketball is heading into conference play with a ton of unknowns. What are some pivotal questions for the teams in the league?
Coming into the 2019-20 Atlantic 10 Basketball season, there looked to be a trio of teams (VCU, Dayton, and Davidson) that were separated from the rest of the group. But things have gone a bit different, with the Flyers performing above expectations and the Wildcats struggling in their non-conference slate.
Instead, other teams have emerged, including Duquesne, George Mason, Saint Louis and Richmond. All four have 10+ wins heading into conference play and have shown the capabilities of taking on the top teams. And outside of Saint Joe’s and maybe Fordham, the rest of the league aren’t going to be complete pushovers.
But which teams are for real and which are most likely to fall apart? And how good exactly are VCU and Dayton?
