Big Ten Basketball: 5 biggest questions for rest of 2019-20 season
With so much parity in Big Ten Basketball at the moment, there are many questions to be asked. Here are five, in particular, followed by good answers.
There are 14 Big Ten Basketball programs. Heading into this weekend, each team has played two conference games each. And the records are fascinating. Michigan State stands alone at the top at 2-0, with Northwestern at the bottom at 0-2. As for the other 12 teams, each of them is 1-1, beating and losing to each other in December. This is annually right up there as a competitive conference top to bottom and this year is no different.
And when you include the top team Spartans who won’t be having a key player for the rest of the season, there are a lot more questions heading into the full swing of conference play. To try and get some answers myself, I asked a few of our writers here at Busting Brackets to answer some questions I have at the moment. Here are the participants for this Big Ten roundtable;
Adam Childs – @AdamChilds21
Joe Chambers – @theJoeChambers
Ryan Kay – @KaySportswriter
Bryan Mauro – @threecolorbeard
Anthony Brown – @ABrownSports
Thanks again to these guys for their contributions and for more Big Ten and college hoops content, please follow and check out their social media as well. Apologies to the programs excluded from this roundtable but for the most intriguing storylines going forward, here are the five biggest questions that I have concerning this quality basketball league.
